Welcome to the world of distributed control! DistRap is the umbrella community project aiming to provide robust solution for implementing various control systems in distributed manner.
Currently available systems often hit limitations of controller boards either in scalability, firmware capacity or complexity needed for further extension. Inspired by Unix philosophy, DistRap nodes should do one thing and do it well and communicate with each other over shared bus. Such system should provide extensible and robust solution for hobby or industrial automation allowing control of wide range of machines.
DistRap servo controllers offer closed-loop servo functionality with feedback back to master node. This can greatly improve safety and reliability of your machine or whole control system.
